What does it mean to be a volunteer at OCRJC?
This month we are highlighting several volunteers who participate on the Restorative Justice Panels, one of the programs at the CJC. Restorative Justice Panels are offered for youths, and adults and are generally a pre-charge opportunity for those who have caused harm in the community to address this behavior.
Our restorative justice programs cannot function without the help of volunteers. Volunteers represent the community's voice and assist participants in understanding the harm their actions caused, even in "victimless" crimes.
