Meet OCRJC Newest Team Member Lindsey Stokes
The Orleans County Restorative Justice Center, its volunteers, staff, and board members are excited to ring in the new year and are looking forward to continue building on our achievements towards our goal of integrating restorative justice services and practices in Orleans and Northern Essex counties.
We are embracing our commitment to strengthening our communities through a variety of activities with our well-established programs including reparative panels, direct services to individuals, families and communities that have experienced harm, CoSA services, as well as monthly legal clinics in Newport and throughout the district. We are busy planning some exciting upcoming events including a community circle and expanded restorative justice education in a variety of communities.
We invite you to join us in our goal of transforming conflict into community connections.
In this month’s newsletter we introduce our new restorative justice panel coordinator, Lindsey Stokes who brings to OCRJC some interesting firsthand experience from her time in Rwanda. Welcome Lindsey!
